Hi, welcome to Dessine-moi un bouton!
This blog is about buttons (as the title may indicate) but also about zipper, thread, needle, fabric... well, everything sewing related.
Last year, I moved from France to neighbour country Spain, leaving Brittany, Paris and the rain behind to settle in Valencia, on the mediterranean coast. Big change! New country, new language...
And as I could not take my grandmother's sewing machine in the plane with me, I bought a new one last summer. Meet Elna, my new best friend:
I caught the sewing virus and now I can't stop daydreaming about the next dress I am going to make. Every occasion is an excuse to make a new one: a party, a picnic, a walk, etc... And if there is no occasion, be sure I will invent one!
Retro and vintage patterns are my favourites. From reproduction to vintage inspired patterns, there is always a full skirt on my sewing/dining table.
This blog will follow my sewing journey and share my projects, my progress (and errors) and inspiration.

DeleteI have an Elna sewing machine which I love but it is not working at the moment...but they are good machines!

Coucou Pauline, je m'apelle Louise et je suis la copine de Maxime Chatelain. c'est drôle, tu dois être la seule du groupe de Chateau que je n'ai pas vue et les autres m'ont dit plusieurs fois qu'on devrait bien s'entendre car j'aime beaucoup la création aussi et moi je crée mes propres bijoux.
