I thought I would have more things to post about at the begin of the year but truth be told, I am quite occupied by a very exciting project of mine that leaves me little time for sewing, or at least sewing for myself (I hope to tell you more as soon as possible...). But fortunately, I was able to find some time to make this nice little dress last week.
Pensaba que iba a tener más cosas sobre las que escribir al principio del año pero estoy ocupada con un proyecto mío muy interesante que me deja poco tiempo para coser, o al menos para coser para mí (espero deciros algo más lo antes posible...). Pero por suerte, he encontrado un par de horitas para hacer este vestido la semana pasada.
I found this amazing burgundy velvet during sales at Julían López and I could not resist. I have been quite drawn to burgundy, maroon and plum colours lately. And what can I say, the price was ridiculously low.
Encontré este terciopelo granate durante las rebajas en la tienda de Julían López de Valencia y no pude resistir. Estoy bastante atraida por los tonos granate y púrpura últimamente. Y quiero añadir que el precio era absurdamente bajo.
The pattern is Retro Butterick 6582 (already made here), view B, with a modified collar. I wanted something very simple to let the fabric shine. There are double darts, meaning four front darts and four back darts, no waist seam, a back vent, very basic. I lined the whole dress for more comfort.
El patrón es Retro Butterick 6582 (hecho aquí antes), vista B con un cuello modificado. Quería algo muy sencillo para dejar la tela brillar. Hay dobles pinzas, con eso quiero decir que la parte delantera tiene cuatro pinzas y la espalda también, no hay costura divisoria a la cintura y tiene abertura en la espalda de la falda, todo muy básico. El vestido está forrado para más comodidad.
We had a lot of fun taking pictures with our new camera lens (50mm, f/1,8 G). It's amazing and makes great pictures. Believe me or not, I did not touch anything on those photos. The light is crazy beautiful and it wasn't even that sunny today. Best Christmas gift ever!
Nos hemos divertido mucho tomando las fotos con nuestro nuevo objetivo de cámara (50 mm, f/1,8 G). Está genial y hace unas fotos de una calidad impresionante. Creedme o no, no he tocado nada en estás fotos. La luz está perfecta y tampoco hacía tanto sol. ¡El mejor regalo de Reyes!

DeletePauline, como siempre vas monisima!!. La tela es muy bonita y pienso como tu y las demas compis... has elegido un modelo sencillo, ya que la tela habla ella sola, no necesita de nada más!!. Y tu nuevo objetivo sera muy bueno y sacará fotos chulisimas, pero ya te digo yo, que con objetivo de 50mm o sin el, tu siempre estas guapisima!!!.
